Winter wonderland

I just love this crisp, frosty, sunny winter weather, I can tell you it is a treat every morning, seeing the sun rise over misty frost covered river valleys.

Also the volume of water in our rivers at the moment is fantastic, for all those Salmonids in search of suitable spawning habitat, and for running our hatchery boxes, I know I complained about our summer, but now I am grateful for all that extra water!

We have been busy as always on the Frome and Piddle, attending endless meetings (there is a huge amount of behind the scenes work that goes on to keep our fishing what it is), and planning 2009 in some detail.
