Winter, January etc..... One or two salmon moving, hatchery boxes flooded, Frome valley flooded.

Managed to go fishing last night, one 5lb mirror during the night, a 5lb Common in the morning and a rather fine steak supper,and two glasses of wine, and then two more and so on.... rain and gale force winds!!!!

Somehow off to Cape verde this week with my family, I hope to manage a spot of fishing, according to various web sites the fishing looks pretty good, fingers crossed for something a little special on the old fly rod, and if any of you have fished out that way perhaps you could share a little info with me.
